A teacher asks her student to write about what they want to be when they grow up? One of the student had written only 2 words "Be happy".
Looking at the student writings teacher says "you didn't understand the question". Student replies, "You didn't understand the life......"

Yes, but happiness is an extremely relative term and also very personal. It is not an external emotion, generally, so it is often misunderstood by everyone. Or else, it is portrayed in a cliched manner - if you laugh you are happy etc., although that may not be true always
Thanks people ...for noticing. @sunder I totally agree, the association of external event with happiness is what screws it most of the time...:)
But I think the kid has absolute clarity on the meaning, no?
Kid is just kiddish, he is very simple..... so is his point of view :P
